Further proof that our simple, everyday purchasing decisions are “causing the globe’s sixth major extinction event.” Sumatran tigers, elephants and orangutans are being sacrificed at the altar of palm oil and toilet paper. (How does that make the average harried, SUV-driving Soccer Mom feel?) What was caused by good ol’ angry Mother Nature in the past is now being driven by the selfish obliviousness of the rat race’s crass consumerism. YAY HUMAN RACE!
